Check Out New FIFA 15 Gameplay Footage

All finished playing the FIFA 15 demo and waiting impatiently for the big release day? If you’re looking for something to do, you will definitely want to check out the gameplay footage that IGN has just released. The footage came from the 2014 Tokyo Game Show.

You can see a lot more of the great player animations in the video as well as the celebrations. Every trailer we see amazes us more with the realism of the game. I still remember last year when we thought that FIFA 14 could not be beat for its improvements over FIFA 13, but I think this year we’re seeing an even bigger leap in quality.

Electronic Arts has made some other announcements as well. We now know that the cover of FIFA 15 in the UK, Ireland, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands will feature Chelsea star Eden Hazard alongside (of course) Lionel Messi. Hazard was named PFA Young Player of the Year for 2014, and took part in the 2014 World Cup playing for Belgium. He’s very excited to be on the cover, as he has long been a huge fan of the games.

“I have played FIFA all of my life and it’s a huge honour to be asked to be on the cover of FIFA 15,” Hazard stated while extending his thanks to EA. “Now I have played the game I can say it’s the most realistic football game I have seen, so I cannot wait to challenge my friends and team-mates with FIFA 15 and show off the new moves.”

Eden is currently ranked as the 10th player in FIFA 15’s top player list, with a score of 88, which places him on the same level as the players in spots 8 and 9, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Franck Ribery, respectively.

In the US, the cover will feature Lionel Messi alongside Clint Dempsey. Dempsey also mentioned that he has been playing FIFA games his entire life. “It’s pretty cool, especially to be on the cover of a game that I played growing up,” he said, “and also in the company of one of the best players in the world. It’s exciting.” Dempsey has also talked about the popularity of the FIFA games in America, and how they have helped to make the real-life game of soccer more popular as well.

“You start figuring out the rules, so when you watch the games on TV, you’re able to understand it more,” he explained. “It only helps the popularity of the game in the US.”

If you haven’t yet bought the game, now is the time to pre-order FIFA 15 while you can. FIFA 15 is coming out on all platforms in the US on Tuesday, September 23rd (that’s in just two days!) and in Europe on Thursday, September 25th. Once that window closes, you will no longer be able to place your pre-order and enjoy the Ultimate Team bonuses. The standard edition pre-order version of the game includes 15 free Ultimate Team backs. The ultimate edition for just $10 more includes 40 Ultimate Team packs, three new celebrations, the Adidas Predator collection, and Lionel Messi on loan for your first 5 season games.

You really can’t ask for more than that! What amazing value. But remember, the opportunity will be gone when the pre-order window closes and the game goes on regular sale, so take advantage of this deal while you can. Have fun playing FIFA 15 in a couple of days!
